The Riva and Thomas O. Hecht Scholarship:
Teaching of the Holocaust for Educators.
After thirteen successful years of activity and the awarding of thirty-eight scholarships to teachers working in the Quebec public school system, we are now moving forward in new directions in support of Holocaust Education.
To this end, The Riva and Thomas O. Hecht Scholarship: Teaching of the Holocaust for Educators will exist in a new format. Our plan is to support a variety of initiatives promoting Holocaust Education.
One such project which we have undertaken in collaboration with the Montreal Holocaust Museum, is supporting the upcoming Holocaust History and Human Rights Education Seminar in Canada; a training Seminar for teachers. This event will take place in June 2018.
